"It's all about the money. It's all about the dum dum didudumdum."
Tree63 still remains one of my all time favourite rock bands. Know that even though the christian music industry has left a bitter taste, the real power of your time together as a band lies in the fact that your music continues to inspire many of us and still makes me want to worship Him every time I listen to your songs.
Tree63 was the first " christian" band I ever listened to, your music inspired me to start following Him and still does 8 years down the line. if you not worshipping money john you must still be worshipping The Other. Just because you see through the Jesus of suburbia does not mean you have forsaken the Master nor has He forsaken you, always remember that. Hold on to the ones you love and go where He shows you, He knows how to get us out of here alive.
I was so inspired by tree63 -being an indian in Durban -listening to rock music was not the norm. I drove my Hindu friends in the late 90's to come watch your concert in durban North beach. We were moved by Tree63 as a band. I now live in Johannesburg and sometimes listen to internet radio and hear ur songs streaming from the US. I attend parlotones concerts whenever they are performing in town. To me Tree63 is the best band in South africa. Do the right thing John. Unite the band and start performing not in churches but the likes of Grand west , Carnival city Big Top and Coca cola dome. Keep the same message and every word you sang and that u meant. Revive South African music. Cheers
